"Star Trek: Starfleet Academy" is a new sci-fi series created by Gaia Violo. It is the 12th series in the "Star Trek" franchise and is a part of the expanded universe created by Alex Kurtzman. The cast includes Holly Hunter, Sandro Rosta, Karim Diané, Kerrice Brooks, George Hawkins, Bella Shepard, Zoë Steiner, Robert Picardo, Tig Notaro and Oded Fehr. The show premiered on January 15, 2026 on Paramount+.
