Easygoing Territory Defense By The Optimistic Lord Anime Series Trailers Images Posters

"Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord" is a new anime series based on the Japanese light novel series "Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord: Production Magic Turns a Nameless Village into the Strongest Fortified City" written by Sou Akaike and illustrateed by Kururi, which has been serialized on the user-generated novel publishing website Shousetsuka ni Narou since May 2020. A manga adaptation is also available, illustrated by Maro Aoiro. As of April 2025, the light novel's web version has surpassed 300 million page views, and it took third place in the Paperback category of 2022's Next Light Novel Awards.

The anime is directed by Tetsuya Tatamitani ("Africa Salaryman") at studio NAZ, with scripts by Yutaka Yasunaga ("Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon") and music by Kana Utatane ("Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill")

The opening theme song is "Okirakuze~shon" performed by Rei Nakashima, while the ending theme song is "Make It", performed by Nonoka Ōbuchi. The voice cast includes Yumi Uchiyama, M.A.O, Mariya Ise, Yoko Hikasa, Shion Wakayama, Kenyu Horiuchi and Chikahiro Kobayashi.

"Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord" has premiered on January 10, 2026 and also streams on Crunchyroll.
