Shiboyugi Playing Death Games To Put Food On The Table Anime Series Trailers Clip Images Posters

"SHIBOYUGI: Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table" is a new anime series based on the Japanese light novel series of the same name written by Yushi Yukai and illustrated by Nekometaru. It began publication under Media Factory's MF Bunko J light novel imprint in November 2022. Yen Press publishes an official English version.

The anime is directed by Sota Ueno ("Days with My Stepsister") at Studio DEEN, with series composition by Rintaro Ikeda ("Insomniacs After School"), character designs by Eri Osada ("The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat") and music by Junichi Matsumoto ("The Ancient Magus' Bride").

The opening song is "Ersterbend" is performed Lin from Madkid, while the ending theme song is "Inori" ("Inori") performed by Chiai Fujikawa. The voice cast includes Haruka Oribe, Rio Tsuchiya, Yume Miyamoto, Natsuko Abe and Shizuka Ito.

"SHIBOYUGI: Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table" has premiered on January 7, 2026, and streams internationally via Crunchyroll and Netflix. The English dub also started streaming alongside the Japanese version, and it features Suzie Yeung, Dawn M. Bennett, Michelle Marie, Morgan Berry, Kayli Mills, Brianna Knickerbocker, and Sky Santacruz.
