Isekai Office Worker The Other Worlds Books Depend On The Bean Counter Anime Series Trailer Images Poster

"The Other World's Books Depend on the Bean Counter" is a new anime series based on the Japanese light novel series written by Yatsuki Wakatsu and illustrated by Kikka Ohashi. It was serialized online from March to December 2018 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō and later acquired by Enterbrain, which has published three volumes since February 2019.

The anime is directed by Shinji Ishihira ("Tadaima, Okaeri") at Studio DEEN, with series composition by Yoshiko Nakamura ("Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle"), character designs by Maki Fujii ("Sasaki and Miyano") and music by Megumi Ohashi ("Yuri Is My Job!"). Akihiro Yamada serves as assistant director.

The opening song is "Magic" performed by kobore ("Digimon Ghost Game"), and the ending theme song is "Back to Back" performed by Win Morisaki ("Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire"). The voice cast includes Kento Ito, Tomoaki Maeno, Seiichiro Yamashita, Hiroki Tochi, Tomohiro Yamaguchi, Yuna Kamakura, Takaaki Torashima, Yuki Ono, Win Morisaki, Kazuyuki Okitsu and Shiori Izawa.

"Isekai Office Worker: The Other World's Books Depend on the Bean Counter" has premiered on January 6, 2026 and also streams on Crunchyroll.

"Seiichirou Kondou gets caught up in a summoning ritual and is transported to a parallel world called Romany Kingdom. Having worked day and night, he demands a job and joins the Royal Accounting Department. After narrowly surviving a tonic's deadly side effects with the aid of magic, Seiichirou entrusts himself to Aresh, captain of the Third Royal Order, known as the Ice Prince."
