"Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale" is a sequel to the 2002 film "Downton Abbey: A New Era", and the third and final film in the "Downton Abbey" franchise that originally started with the TV series of the same name that aired from 2010 until 2015.

The new installment is directed by Simon Curtis ("My Week With Marilyn") from a script by franchise creator Julian Fellowes. The cast includes Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Laura Carmichael, Michelle Dockery, Jim Carter, Raquel Cassidy, Paul Copley, Allen Leech, Robert James Collier, Joanne Froggatt, Brendan Coyle, Paul Giamatti, Dominic West, Joely Richardson, Alessandro Nivola, Simon Russell Beale and Arty Froushan.

"Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale" opened in theaters on September 12, 2025.

"DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE, the cinematic return of the global phenomenon, follows the Crawley family and their staff as they enter the 1930s. When Mary finds herself at the center of a public scandal and the family faces financial trouble, the entire household grapples with the threat of social disgrace. The Crawleys must embrace change as the staff prepares for a new chapter with the next generation leading Downton Abbey into the future."
