New Trailers: THE SMASHING MACHINE, SONG SUNG BLUE, THE RIP, WAKE UP DEAD MAN, DUST BUNNY and THE SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE

Today we have new trailers for:
  • The biographical drama "The Smashing Machine" starring Dwayne Johnson as former amateur wrestler and MMA fighter Mark Kerr. Directed by Benny Safdie ("Uncut Gems"), the film also stars Emily Blunt, Ryan Bader, Bas Rutten and Oleksandr Usyk.
  • The musical biographical dramedy "Song Sung Blue" starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. Inspired by the 2008 documentary of the same name, the film is directed by Craig Brewer ("Hustle & Flow", "Black Snake Moan").
  • The crime thriller "The Rip" from writer/director Joe Carnahan ("The Grey", "Narc", "Smokin' Aces"). Inspired by true events, the film stars Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Sasha Calle, Scott Adkins and Kyle Chandler.
  • Rian Johnson's "Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery" starring Daniel Craig, Josh O'Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack and Thomas Haden Church.
  • The horror thriller "Dust Bunny" written and directed by Bryan Fuller, the creator of TV shows like "Hannibal" and "Pushing Daisies". The film stars Mads Mikkelsen, Sigourney Weaver, and David Dastmalchian.
  • Nintendo and Illumination's animated sequel "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie". It's not an actual trailer, but an official title announcement for the new installment which is once again directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic. Also returning are Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key and Kevin Michael Richardson.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (April 2026 - in theaters)

"The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is an animated film based on the world of Super Mario Bros., and follows The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which was released in 2023 and earned more than $1.3 billion worldwide. Both the 2023 film and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie are produced by Chris Meledandri of Illumination and Shigeru Miyamoto of Nintendo.

The film will be co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo and will be released worldwide by Universal Pictures.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is directed by returning filmmakers Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, from a screenplay by returning screenwriter Matthew Fogel, with Brian Tyler returning to compose the score."
