"Mr Loverman" is a British drama series based on the novel of the same name by Bernardine Evaristo. Lennie James stars as a closeted family man who wants to end his marriage and live with his best friend, with whom he has been having an affair for almost 60 years. The cast also includes Ariyon Bakare, Sharon D. Clarke, Tamara Lawrance, Sharlene Whyte, Suzette Llewellyn and Lochlann Ó Mearáin . The show premiered on October 14, 2025 on BBC One in the UK, while in the US it premieres on June 4, 2025 on BritBox.
