Maebashi Witches Anime Series Trailer Clips Images Poster

"Maebashi Witches" is a new idol anime series directed by Junichi Yamamoto ("More than a Married Couple, but Not Lovers") for SUNRISE Studios. The show's composition is handled by Erika Yoshida ("BOCCHI THE ROCK!") with character designs by Nozomi Tachibana ("Kemono Jihen") and music composed by Yuri Habuka.

The opening theme song is "Sugosugi Maebashi Witches!" ("Super Amazing Maebashi Witches!"), and the ending song is "Sorezore no Door" ("Each Door"). Both songs are performed by the Maebashi Witches themselves, who are voiced by Sakura Kasuga, Hinano Sakikawa, Rena Motomura, Haruka Minami, Honami Momose and Tomokazu Sugita.

The series premiered on April 6, 2025 on Japanese television and is also streaming on Crunchyroll.

"Welcome to Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture. For first-year high school student Yuina Akagi, her middling life takes a wild turn the moment a mysterious frog named Keroppe shows up and asks her, “Why don’t you become a witch?” Alongside Azu Niisato, Kyoka Kitahara, Choco Mitsumata, and Mai Kamiizumi, Yuina and her friends are excited to make people’s dreams come true as the Maebashi Witches."
