CLASSIC STARS Anime Series Trailer, Images and Posters

"Classic Stars" is a new idol anime series directed by Hideaki Oba with Shingo Nagai overseeing the scripts and Yōko Satō handling character designs. Agematsu is the music producer, and fellow Elements Gardens members Hitoshi Fujima, Ryōta Tomaru, and Yūsuke Takeda composed the music.

The anime is co-produced by UNISON and King Records, with Platinum Vision handling animation. It is intended as the first installment in a wider Classic Verse project, through which UNISON will plan and produce titles with a common theme of classical music. There are also plans for a yet-untitled isekai project, in which composers will be reincarnated into other worlds.

The voice cast includes Yuma Uchida, Kento Ito, Shun Abe, Shoya Ishige, Taku Yashiro, Takuya Sato, Ayumu Murase and Daisuke Namikawa. The series premiered on April 5, 2025 on Crunchyroll. A character song mini album titled "BEYOND★CLASSIC" will also be released on May 21, 2025.

"At Gloria Private Academy, a prestigious institution where young talents in music, art, sports, and various entertainment fields gather, the most promising individuals are nurtured for the future.

In the academy’s Music Department, those who are deemed compatible with the “potential” of great musicians of the past receive a “Gift”—a transplanted ability that allows them to inherit the essence of these legendary artists. Once bestowed with a Gift, the individual is referred to by the name of the musician whose abilities they embody.
