"Young Woman and the Sea" is a biographical sports drama directed by Joachim Ronning ("Kon-Tiki", "Maleficent: Mistress of Evil") and executive produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The script is penned by Jeff Nathanson ("Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull") based on the 2009 book of the same name by Glenn Stout. The cast includes Daisy Ridley, Christopher Eccleston, Stephen Graham, Tilda Cobham-Hervey and Kim Bodnia. The film opened in theaters on May 31, 2024.
