"The Strangers: Chapter 1" is a horror film directed by Renny Harlin ("Die Hard 2", "Cliffhanger", "Deep Blue Sea") from a script by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland). This is the first installment in a trilogy of prequel films to the 2008 film "The Strangers" and its sequel. The cast includes Madelaine Petsch, Froy Gutierrez, Rachel Shenton, Gabriel Basso, Ema Horvath and Ella Bruccoleri. The film opened in theaters on May 17, 2024.
