"Minari" is a drama written and directed by Lee Isaac Chung. Inspired by the filmmaker's own childhood, the film follows a Korean family that moves to rural Arkansas in the 1980s. The cast includes Steven Yeun ("The Walking Dead"), Han Ye-ri, Alan Kim, Noel Kate Cho, Youn Yuh-jung and Will Patton ("Armageddon", "The Mothman Prophecies").

"Minari" premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival where it won the U.S. Dramatic Grand Jury Prize and the U.S. Dramatic Audience Award. In 2021, the film was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film. It was released in theaters on February 12, 2021.
