MINAMATA (2020) - Trailers, Clips, Images and Posters

"Minamata" is a drama directed by Andrew Levitas ("Lullaby") from a script by David Kessler based on the book of the same name by Aileen Mioko Smith and Eugene Smith.

The film follows war photographer W. Eugene Smith (Johnny Depp) as he travels back to Japan where he documents the devastating effect of mercury poisoning in coastal communities. Bill Nighy, Hiroyuki Sanada, Minami Hinase, Tadanobu Asano and Katherine Jenkins co-star.

"Minamata" premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival, and opened in theaters on February 5, 2021.
