"A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting" is a family comedy directed by Rachel Talalay ("Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare", "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina") from a script written by Joe Ballarini based on his three-part book trilogy of the same name. The film is produced by Ivan Reitman ("Ghostbusters").

The story follows a babysitter named Kelly Ferguson (Tamara Smart), who must embark on a mission to find the child in her care, who has been kidnapped by the Boogeyman. During this mission, she discovers that a secret society of children-protecting babysitters exist, as do an entire world of monsters, which she must fight. Oona Laurence, Tom Felton, Indya Moore and Cameron Bancroft co-star.

"A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting" premiered on October 15, 2020 via Netflix.
