"The Lie" is a psychological thriller written and directed by Veena Sud ("The Killing") based on the 2015 German film "Wir Monster" ("We Monsters") written by Marcus Seibert.
Released as part of Prime Video'"Welcome to the Blumhouse" horror series on October 6, 2020, the film stars Mireille Enos and Peter Sarsgaard as two desperate parents, who attempt to cover up their teenage daughter's ("Joey King) horrific crime. Cas Anvar, Alan Van Sprang, Nicholas Lea and Patti Kim co-star.
