The second season of the historical fantasy drama series "Britannia" has premiered on November 7, 2019 on Sky in the U.K., and on October 4, 2020 on Epix in the U.S.
Created by Jez Butterworth, Tom Butterworth and James Richardson, the series is set in 43 A.D., when the Romans invaded Britain. The second season picks up two years after the invasion where General Aulus with the help of Celtic Queen Amena (Annabel Scholey), Romanizes the other tribes. The Druids and Celts believe a young girl named Cait (Eleanor Worthington-Cox) trained by outcast Druid Divis (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) will save them. But a fight between Druid brothers Veran and Harka (Mackenzie Crook) threatens the prophecy.
The cast also includes Gianni Calchetti, David Morrissey, Liana Cornell and Julian Rhind-Tutt .
