"Filthy Rich" is a satirical drama series created by Tate Taylor ("The Help", "The Girl on the Train") based on the New Zealand series of the same name.

The show is a Gothic family drama in which wealth, power and religion collide—with outrageously soapy results, and it centers on a mega-rich Southern family who made their money with a Christian television network, and whose sudden passing of its founder in a plane crash brings out three more family members (who he had written in his will due to having affairs with different women), who will inherit the empire for their own reasons.

The cast features Kim Cattrall, Gerald McRaney, Aubrey Dollar, Corey Cott, Benjamin Levy Aguilar, Mark L. Young, Melia Kreiling, Steve Harris, Aaron Lazara nd Olivia Macklin.

"FILTHY RICH is a southern Gothic family drama in which wealth, power and religion collide – with outrageously soapy results. When the patriarch (Emmy Award winner Gerald McRaney, “This Is Us,” “24: Legacy”) of a mega-rich Southern family, famed for creating a wildly successful Christian television network, dies in a plane crash, his wife (Emmy Award and Golden Globe nominee Kim Cattrall, “Sex and the City”) and family are stunned to learn that he fathered three illegitimate children, all of whom are written into his will, threatening their family name and fortune."
