"Frayed" is an Australian and British comedy series created, written by and starring Sarah Kendall. The show is set in 1989 and follows the story of Samantha 'Sammy' Cooper (Kendall), a wealthy London housewife who is forced to return to her hometown of Newcastle in Australia with her son and daughter, after the death of her husband. The cast also includes Matt Passmore, Kerry Armstrong, Ben Mingay, George Houvardas and Diane Morgan.

"Frayed" premiered on October 16, 2019 in Australia (ABC), on September 26, 2019 in the U.K. (Sky One), and on July 30, 2020 in the U.S. (HBO Max).
