"Animal Crackers" is a computer animated film directed by Tony Bancroft ("Mulan"), Scott Christian Sava and Jaime Maestro, from a script by Sava and Dean Lorey, loosely based on the graphic novel by Sava.

The film tells the story of a family who must use a magical box of Animal Crackers to save a run-down circus from being taken over by their evil uncle Horatio P. Huntington. The voice cast includes Danny DeVito, Emily Blunt, Ian McKellen, James Arnold Taylor, John Krasinski, Lydia Rose Taylor, Patrick Warburton, Raven-Symoné, Sylvester Stallone and Tara Strong.

The film premiered at the 2017 Annecy International Animation Film Festival and was released in China on July 21, 2018. The U.S. release proved more difficult, however, as the film went through various distributors, all of which faced financial difficulties. It was finally released on July 24, 2020 via Netflix.

"Owen Huntington's life is one continuous loop of work, eat, and sleep. A loop that keeps him from ever seeing his wife Zoe, or his three year old daughter MacKenzie. A loop that is sure to kill him.
