"The Rental" is a horror film directed by actor Dave Franco in his feature film directorial debut, from a script he co-wrote alongside Joe Swanberg ("Drinking Buddies", "Easy").

The film follows two couples on an oceanside getaway, who grow suspicious that the host of their seemingly perfect rental house may be spying on them, and soon enough, what should have been a celebratory weekend trip turns into something far more sinister. The cast features Alison Brie, Dan Stevens, Jeremy Allen White and Sheila Vand.

"The Rental" premiered in select theaters and via streaming on July 24, 2020.
