The second season of the horror comedy series "What We Do in the Shadows" has premiered on FX on April 15, 2020. Created by Jemaine Clement, the show is based on the 2014 film of the same name written by Clement and Taika Waititi, and it follows four vampire roommates in New York City. The cast features Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillén, and Mark Proksch. Mark Hamill will guest star on the new season.

"What We Do in the Shadows is a half-hour comedy series based on the feature film of the same name by co-creators Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. Set in New York City, the show follows three vampires who have been roommates for hundreds and hundreds of years. Stars Matt Berry, Kayvan Novak, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillen and Mark Proksch.

What We Do in the Shadows follows four vampires who’ve “lived” together for hundreds of years. In Season 2, the vampires will try to find their way in a world of human Super Bowl parties, internet trolls, an energy vampire who gets a promotion and becomes drunk on power and of course, all the ghosts, witches, necromancers, zombies and shadowy cloaked assassins who roam freely in the Tri-State area."
