"The Main Event" is a comedy directed by TV helmer Jay Karas ("Superstore", "Brooklyn Nine-Nine") from a script by Larry Postel, Peter Hoare ("Standing Up, Falling Down") and "Klaus" scribes Zach Lewis and Jim Mahoney.

The film tells the story of an 11-year-old aspiring wrestler (Seth Carr), who discovers a magical wrestling mask that grants him super strength, and uses it to enter a WWE competition. Tichina Arnold, Ken Marino, Adam Pally and Keith Lee co-star.

"The Main Event" premiered on April 10, 2020 on Netflix.
