"Stargirl" is Disney drama directed by Julia Hart ("Fast Colour") from a script by Kristin Hahn ("Dumplin'") and "La La Land" producer Jordan Horowitz, based on the novel of the same name by Jerry Spinelli.

The film follows Leo Borlock (Graham Verchere), an average student at Mica High School whose life changes when he meets Stargirl Caraway (Grace VanderWaal), a confident and colorful new student with a penchant for the ukulele, who stands out in a crowd. Giancarlo Esposito, Karan Brar, Darby Stanchfield and Maximiliano Hernandez co-star.

"Stargirl" premiered on March 13, 2020 on Disney+.
