"Queen Sono" is a new South African crime drama series created by Kagiso Lediga. The series has premiered on Netflix on February 28, 2020, and it is the streaming company's first African original series.

Pearl Thusi stars as the titular protagonist, a field operative of the Special Operations Group (SOG) who tackles criminal operations while dealing with crises in her personal life. The cast also includes Vuyo Dabula, Secheba Morojele, Chi Mhende, Loyiso Madinga and Rob Van Vuuren.
