The fifth season of "Better Call Saul" has premiered on February 23, 2020 on AMC. Created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, the series is a spin-off prequel of Gilligan's "Breaking Bad", and it focuses on criminal lawyer Jimmy McGill (Bob Odernkirk) in the time before he established his strip-mall law office in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

In the new season Jimmy decides to practice law as Saul Goodman and it changes everything. A sixth and final season has been announced for 2021. The cast also includes Jonathan Banks, Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, and Giancarlo Esposito.
