"Knives Out" is a whodunit murder mystery written and directed by Rian Johnson ("Looper", "Star Wars: The Last Jedi").

The film focuses on the mysterious death of renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) and the investigation of inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) who must sift through a web of red herrings and self-serving lies to uncover the truth behind Harlan's untimely death. The ensemble cast also includes Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, Jaeden Martell, Katherine Langford and LaKeith Stanfield.

"Knives Out" premiered at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival and opened in theaters on November 27, 2019.
