"Raising Dion" is a new superhero drama series created by Carol Barbee ("Three Rivers") and Dennis Liu based on the latter's 2015 comic book of the same name. The show follows the story of Nicole Warren (Alisha Wainwright), a single mother who raises her son Dion (Ja'Siah Young) after the death of her husband. When Dion starts to manifest superhero-like abilities, Nicole struggles to figure out how to raise him safely and responsibly. The show also stars Jazmyn Haney, Jason Ritter, Sammi Haney and Michael B. Jordan.

"Raising Dion" premiered on October 4, 2019 on Netflix.
