"In the Shadow of the Moon" is a sci-fi thriller directed by Jim Mickle ("Stake Land") from a script by Gregory Weidman & Geoffrey Tock ("Limitless" series).

Boyd Holbrook stars as a Philadelphia police officer on the hunt for a serial killer (Cleopatra Coleman) who mysteriously resurfaces every nine years, and whose crimes defy all scientific explanation. However, his obsession with finding the truth threatens to destroy his career, his family, and possibly his sanity. The film also stars Michael C. Hall, Bokeem Woodbine, Rachel Keller and Rudi Dharmalingam.

"In the Shadow of the Moon" premiered at the 2019 Fantastic Fest and was released on September 27, 2019 via Netflix.
