The second season of the crime drama series "The Rookie" has premiered on September 29, 2019 on ABC. Created by "Castle" producer/writer Alexi Hawley, the show stars Nathan Fillion as John Nolan, a 45-year-old man who decides to pursue a new career as a police officer in the Los Angeles Police Department, becoming the oldest rookie on the force. The cast also includes Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Titus Makin, Melissa O'Neal and Eric Winter.
