"Are You Afraid of the Dark?" is a horror miniseries created by BenDavid Grabinski, Ned Kandel and D.J. MacHale. The three-part limited series is a reboot of the 1992 Nickelodeon anthology series created by Kandel and MacHale. The story centers on the newest member of the Midnight Society, her first scary tale, and what happens to the group when the terrifying events of her story start to actually happen in their small town. The cast includes Lyliana Wray, Miya Cech, Rafael Casal, Milo Shandel, Sam Ashe Arnold, Tamara Smart, Cardi Wong, and Jeremy Ray Taylor.

"Are You Afraid of the Dark?" premired on October 11, 2019 on Nickelodeon as a Halloween Special.
