"Edie" is a British drama directed by Simon Hunter ("Mutant Chronicles") and written by Elizabeth O'Halloran based on an idea by Edward Lynden-Bell.

The film tells the story of 83 year old Edie (Sheila Hancock) who, after the death of her husband, leaves her life behind and embarks on an adventure she and her father had always longed for: climbing the imposing Mount Suilven in Scotland. Kevin Guthrie, Paul Brannigan, Amy Manson and Wendy Morgan co-star.

"Edie" premiered on June 26, 2017 at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, and was released in theaters in the U.K. on May 25, 2018. It received a limited release in U.S. theaters on September 6, 2019.
