"Overcomer" is a faith-based drama directed by Alex Kendrick ("Courageous", "War Room") from a script he co-wrote alongside his brother Stephen Kendrick.

The film tells the story of high school basketball coach (Alex Kendrick) who faces an uncertain future when his team is forced to disband. After reluctantly agreeing to coach cross-country, he meets an aspiring athlete (Priscilla C. Shirer) who's pushing her limits on a journey toward discovery, and begins to train her to attempt the impossible in the biggest race of the year.
