"It Chapter Two" is a horror film based on the 1986 novel of the same name by Stephen King and a sequel to the 2017 film "It". Both films are directed by Andy Muschietti ("Mama"). Gary Dauberman ("The Nun", "Annabelle Creation") wrote the script for the sequel and co-wrote the first film alongside Cary Fukunaga and Chase Palmer.

The film adapts the second half of King's novel, and it sets the action 27 years after the Losers Club (played by Jaeden Martell, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Wyatt Oleff) defeated Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård). Now adults and damaged by the experiences of their past, the Losers, played by James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone and Andy Bean, are forced to return to their hometown to confront their deepest fears and destroy Pennywise once and for all.

"It Chapter Two" opened in theaters on September 6, 2019.
