The sixth season of the drama series "Ray Donovan" is set to premiere tonight, October 28, 2018, on Showtime at 9p. Created by "Primal Fear" scribe Ann Biderman, the show stars Liev Schreiber as a professional "fixer" for the rich and famous in Los Angeles, who can make anyone's problems disappear.

The new season finds Ray in New York City, where he makes a new friend, a Staten Island policeman named Mac (Domenick Lombardozzi). He also finds conflicts with working for Sam Winslow (Susan Sarandon) who has joined forces with New York mayoral candidate Anita Novak (Lola Glaudini). The cast also includes Dash Mihok, Eddie Marsan, Katherine Moennig, Pooch Hall, Kerris Dorsey and Jon Voight.

"As season six of RAY DONOVAN begins, we find Ray (Schreiber) rebuilding his life both personally and professionally in New York City. After being rescued from a plummet into the East River, his savior, a cop named Mac (Domenick Lombardozzi), brings Ray into the fraternity that is the Staten Island Police Department. While exploring this new world of brotherhood and corruption, Ray finds himself once again working for media mogul Sam Winslow (Susan Sarandon). Sam has teamed up with New York City mayoral candidate Anita Novak (Lola Glaudini), a partnership that puts Ray at odds with his new friends out in Staten Island."
