The action thriller "Braven" stars Jason Momoa ("Game of Thrones", "Aquaman") as a logger who has to defend his father (Stephen Lang) and daughter (Sasha Rossof) from a group of ruthless drug traffickers.

The film is directed by Lin Oeding (stunt coordinator on "Olympus Has Fallen" and "The Equalizer"), and also stars Garret Dillahunt, Brendan Fletcher, Jill Wagner and Zahn McClarnon.

"Braven" opened in select theaters on February 2, 2018 and received mixed to positive reviews from critics who conceded that while it's a standard by-the-numbers actioner, it's professionally put together and highly entertaining for fans of the genre.

"Jason Momoa takes no prisoners in this intense action-thriller. When Joe (Momoa) and his father (Stephen Lang) arrive at their remote hunting cabin, they're hoping for a quiet weekend. What they find is a stash of heroin, hidden in the cabin by drug traffickers. When the criminals suddenly descend upon the cabin, Joe and his father must make a kill-or-be-killed stand for survival."
