HOUSE OF CARDS Season 5 Trailers, Images and Poster

The fifth season of the Netflix series "House of Cards" is now available for streaming. The series continues the political adventures of Francis Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and his equally machiavellian wife (Robin Wright). Series creator Beau Willimon is no longer the showrunner, and he was replaced by writers and producers Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese.

The new season also adds Patricia Clarkson ("The Green Mile") and Campbell Scott ("The Amazing Spider-Man") to the cast. Michael Kelly, Paul Sparks, Neve Campbell, Joel Kinnaman, Colm Feore and Dominique McElligott co-star.

"House of Cards" Season 5 was released on May 30th, 2017.

BLACK BUTTERFLY Trailer, Clips, Images and Posters

Directed by Brian Goodman ("What Doesn't Kill You") based on the French film "Papillon noir", the thriller "Black Butterfly" focuses on a reclusive writer (Antonio Banderas) who invites a drifter (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) to stay with him at his isolated cabin outside a mountain town. As a storm cuts the power off, the two men begin a jagged game of one-upmanship that will prove deadly to at least one of them. Piper Perabo, Nathalie Rapti Gomez and Alexandra Klim also star.

"Black Butterfly" was released in theaters and on demand on May 26th, 2017. The film received mixed reviews from critics.

Cannes 2017: Complete List of Winners

The awards for the 70th edition of the Cannes Film Festival have been handed out on May 28th in the Lumiere Theatre. The winner of the coveted Palme d'Or was the satirical drama "The Square" directed by Ruben Östlund ("Force Majeure"). The film tells the story of a successful curator of a modern art museum, played by Claes Bang, whose life begins to unravel as he prepares for a prestigious exhibition called "The Square". The film also stars Elisabeth Moss and Dominic West. The AIDS drama "120 Beats per Minute" lost the Palme d'Or, but won the Grand Prix award.

Sofia Coppola won Best Director for her work on the southern gothic drama "The Beguiled". In acting categories, Joaquin Pheonix took home an award for Lynne Ramsay's "You Were Never Really Here", and Diane Kruger scored a win for the terrorism drama "In the Fade". The screenplay award was jointly awarded to Ramsay for "You Were Never Really Here" and Yorgos Lanthimos for "The Killing Of Sacred Deer". The Jury Prize went to "Loveless", a Russian drama directed by Andrey Zvyagintsev ("Leviathan").

STILL STAR-CROSSED Trailers, Featurette, Images and Poster

"Still Star-Crossed" is a new ABC period drama series from Shonda Rhimes ("Scandal", "Grey's Anatomy") based on the book of the same name written by Melinda Taub.

The show picks up the story of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet after the death of the star-crossed lovers and follows the treachery, palace intrigue and ill-fated romances of the Montagues and Capulets. The cast includes Lashana Lynch, Sterling Sulieman, Anthony Head, Grant Bowler, Wade Briggs, Ebonée Noel, Zuleikha Robinson, Medalion Rahimi and Torrance Coombs.

"Still Star-Crossed" premieres tonight at 10p.

BERLIN SYNDROME Trailer, Clips, Images and Poster

The thriller "Berlin Syndrome" tells the story of an Australian photojournalist (Teresa Palmer) backpacking around Germany who has a one-night stand with a handsome stranger (Max Riemelt), but finds herself a captive in his Berlin apartment as the holiday romance transforms into dangerous obsession.

Directed by Cate Shortland ("Lore") and based on the novel of the same name written by Melanie Joosten, the film also stars Lucie Aron, Cem Tuncay and Matthias Habich.

"Berlin Syndrome" premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and opened in select theaters in the U.S. on May 26th, 2017. The film received generally positive reviews.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES Trailers, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is the fifth installment in the Disney franchise produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Johnny Depp returns as iconic anti-hero Jack Sparrow in a new adventure with Javier Bardem starring as the ghostly villain Captain Salazar, who is out to get revenge on Sparrow.

The film is directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg ("Kon-Tiki") and also stars Geoffrey Rush, Kaya Scodelario, Brenton Thwaites, Kevin McNally, Golshifteh Farahani, David Wenham, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley.

"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" opened in theaters on May 26th, 2017 and received generally negative reviews, although it is seen as an improvement on previous sequels. The film is expected to finish its 4-day opening weekend at the box-office with $76 million.

Trailers, Clip, Images and Poster for WAR MACHINE Starring Brad Pitt

The satirical biopic "War Machine" is written and directed by David Michod ("Animal Kingdom") based on the nonfiction book "The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America's War in Afghanistan" by Michael Hastings.

The film stars Brad Pitt as a four-star general who is sent to Afghanistan to find a way to end the war as quickly as possible, but finds himself taken down by his own hubris and a journalist's no-holds-barred expose. Pitt's character is based on United States Army General Stanley McChrystal, who was forced to resign after mocking Vice President Joe Biden and other Obama officials in a 2010 Rolling Stone interview.

The film also stars Anthony Michael Hall, Anthony Hayes, John Magaro, Emory Cohen, Topher Grace, Daniel Betts, RJ Cyler, Aymen Hamdouchi, Will Poulter, Ben Kingsley, Meg Tilly, Tilda Swinton, Griffin Dunne, Josh Stewart and Scoot McNairy. Russell Crowe has a brief cameo appearance towards the end of the film.

"War Machine" is now streaming via Netflix and opened in select theaters. The film received mixed reviews from critics.

BAYWATCH (2017) - Trailers, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

The 2017 R-rated "Baywatch" reboot directed by Seth Gordon ("Horrible Bosses") follows the adventures of Lt. Mitch Buchanan (Dwayne Johnson), a devoted Florida lifeguard, who must find a way to get along with Matt Brody (Zac Efron), a brash recruit and former Olympic swimmer, as a local criminal conspiracy threatens the future of the Bay.

The film also stars Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Jon Bass, Priyanka Chopra, Rob Huebel, Amin Joseph, Hannibal Buress and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. Veteran "Baywatch" series stars David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson make cameos in the film as The Mentor and Casey Jean Parker, the mother of C.J. Parker (Rohrbach).

"Baywatch" opened in theaters on May 26th, 2017 and received generally negative reviews from critics. The film is expected to gross around $40 million over the weekend, while studio projections estimate a more modest $30 million over the five day weekend.

Tom Holland to Play Young Nathan Drake in Reconfigured UNCHARTED Movie

It's been a long time since Sony's been trying to develop an "Uncharted" movie based on the highly successful PlayStation exclusive video game franchise. So far, all attempts have been unsuccessful. At one point, Mark Wahlberg was set to star, and David O. Russell ("American Hustle ") was attached to direct. According to recent reports, however, things are about to change.

It seems that Sony Pictures has recruited "Spider-Man: Homecoming " star Tom Holland to lead the "Uncharted" movie, which will be repurposed into a prequel that will focus on protagonist Nathan Drake's early days as a young thief, and his encounter with professional rogue, Victor "Sully" Sullivan, who will become a mentor and father-figure to Drake. This particular plotline is actually inspired by a sequence from the third game in the video game series and is said to be the idea of Sony Pictures chief Tom Rothman, who was very inspired by Holland's performance in the upcoming "Spider-Man" movie. It certainly looks like Sony is aiming to develop an origin story that will eventually lead into a proper "Uncharted" movie, since they apparently have no idea how to do one of those.

The film will be directed by Shawn Levy ("Stranger Things") and the studio is still looking for a screenwriter. Past scribes attached to the project include Joe Carnahan, David Guggenheim and Eric Warren Singer, but it is unknown if any of their ideas will still be used.

Besides "Spider-Man: Homecoming", which opens on July 7th, Tom Holland can also be seen this December in the biopic "The Current War" alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Nicholas Hoult, Katherine Waterston and Michael Shannon.

DIRTY DANCING (2017) - Trailer, Images and Poster

The three-hour musical reimagining of the classic 1987 movie "Dirty Dancing" premieres tonight on ABC at 8p. The film stars Abigail Breslin ("Little Miss Sunshine") and dancer Colt Prattes as Baby Houseman and Johnny Castle, roles that were originally played by Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze.

The remake is directed by Wayne Blair ("Septembers of Shiraz") from a script penned by "Nerve" and "American Horror Story" writer Jessica Sharzer. THE SURVIVALIST Trailers, Clips, Images and Posters

The British post-apocalyptic thriller "The Survivalist" takes place in a near future in which society has collapsed. The protagonist, simply known as The Survivalist (Martin McCann), is a man who lives off-the-grid on a small plot of land hidden deep in the forest. He survives by growing crops which he protects from intruders with his shotgun and improvised traps, but the long years spent in isolation have taken their toll, and he is slowly losing his grip on reality. When two women (played by Olwen Fouere and Mia Goth) seeking food and shelter discover his farm, he finds his existence threatened.

Written and directed by Stephen Fingleton, the film was nominated for a BAFTA award for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer in 2016. Andrew Simpson, Barry Ward, Douglas Russell and Ryan McParland also star.

"The Survivalist" received a limited release in theaters on May 19th, 2017 and is now avilable via Amazon Instant Video.

CASUAL Season 3 Trailer and Poster

The Golden Globe-nominated comedy series "Casual" returns for a third season on Hulu today. Written and directed by Robin Swicord ("The Jane Austen Book Club") based on the short story of the same name by E. L. Doctorow, the drama "Wakefield" tells the story of a prestigious Manhattan lawyer (Bryan Cranston) who suffers a breakdown and hides out in the attic of his carriage house garage for several months, observing the lives of his wife (Jennifer Garner), children and neighbors.

The new DVD and Blu-ray releases for the week of May 23rd, 2017 include the R-rated comic book adaptation "Logan" featuring Hugh Jackman in his last outing as Wolverine, Jordan Peele's directorial debut and highly acclaimed horror film "Get Out", Matt Damon's Chinese adventure "The Great Wall, the Oscar-nominated animated film "My Life As a Zucchini", the Palme d'Or winner "Dheepan", the all-female anthology horror film "XX" and the documentary "I Am Heath Ledger". Also out now on home video is the sixth season of the British TV series "Call the Midwife".

Some cult classics have been released on Blu-ray this week, including the Japanese films "Cops Vs Thugs" and "Wolf Guy", as well as the 3D restoration of the 1950s musical "Those Redheads From Seattle" and the six-disc limited edition "The Jacques Rivette Collection".

TWIN PEAKS (2017) - Trailers, Clip, Featurettes, Images and Posters

The "Twin Peaks" revival series premiered last night with its first two episodes on Showtime (with episodes 3 and 4 available for streaming shortly after the premiere), 25 years after David Lynch revolutionized television forever.

The third season of the classic series features almost all of the original cast, including Kyle MacLachlan as FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper and Sheryl Lee as Laura Palmer. Also returning are co-creator Mark Frost and composer Angelo Badalamenti. New additions to its cast include Laura Dern, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Naomi Watts, Eddie Vedder, Michael Cera, Brett Gelman, Tim Roth, Sharon Van Etten, Amanda Seyfried, Robert Forster, Madeline Zima and Charlyne Yi.

"Twin Peaks" Season 3 features 18 episodes, all directed by Lynch.

EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING Trailers, Clips, Featurette, Images and Posters

The young adult romantic drama "Everything, Everything" is based on the novel of the same name written by Nicola Yoon. The film tells the story of 18-year-old Maddie (Amandla Stenberg), a teenager who has lived a sheltered life because of a disease that makes her allergic to everything. Her life changes for the better when she falls for the boy (Nick Robinson) who moves in next door.

Directed by Stella Meghie ("Jean of the Joneses"), the film also stars Anika Noni Rose, Ana de la Reguera, Taylor Hickson, Danube Hermosillo and Dan Payne.

"Everything, Everything" opened in theaters on May 19th, 2017 and received mixed reviews from critics. The film grossed $12 million in its opening weekend at the box-office.
