Written and directed by David Lowery ("Ain't Them Bodies Saints"), the supernatural drama "A Ghost Story" stars Casey Affleck as a recently deceased man, who awakens as a white-sheeted ghost and returns to his suburban home, forced to watch passively as the life he knew and the woman he loves (Rooney Mara) slowly slip away.

The film also stars Kenneisha Thompson, Grover Coulson, Liz Franke and Kesha.

The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January, 2017, and was released in select theaters on July 7th. It received generally positive reviews from critics who appreciated the film's profound exploration of existential themes.
