While it was fairly obvious that Warner Bros. was planning something big to follow its upcoming superhero extravaganza sequel "Superman Vs. Batman", an official confirmation has finally arrived today. Yes, WB is planning to make the "Justice League" movie, and, yes, "Man of Steel" director Zack Snyder will helm it. Furthermore, it seems that the superhero team-up movie will be released sometime in 2018. Snyder is currently working on "Superman Vs. Batman" (unofficial title, by the way) which stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. A new addition to the sequel's cast first sparked suspicions that WB is planning a "Justice League" movie. The new addition is Broadway actor Ray Fisher, who will play Cyborg, another member of the famous gathering of superheroes. The release date for "Superman Vs. Batman" has been set for release on May 6, 2016.

The first confirmation for "Justice League" came from Warner Bros. president of worldwide production Greg Silverman, who said that the 2016 Batman/Superman movie will be followed by "Justice League" sometime in 2018. Silverman went on to say that "It will be a further expansion of this universe" and "Superman vs Batman will lead into Justice League." And another bit of news came via Twitter from Borys Kit, a writer for the Hollywood Reporter, who stated that "Yes, Zack Snyder will direct Justice League. Yes it will shoot back to back. Likely release date: 2017. Likely announcement: Comic Con."

So there you have it, DC fans. The "Justice League" is finally coming.
