A new movie clip has been released for the upcoming Stephen King adpatation "Carrie". In the new clip we see Carrie (Chloe Grace Moretz) getting into an argument with her mother (Julianne Moore) just before going to the infamous high school prom. This is the second clip and so far we've only seen Carrie's interaction with her mother, but also some cool displays of her telekinetic powers. Maybe I'm a little too influenced by Brian De Palma's version, but I feel like Moretz is doing too much hand gesturing as she uses her powers. She's probably been watching too much "Star Wars". "Carrie" is directed by Kimberly Peirce ("Boys Don't Cry") and also stars Judy Greer, Portia Doubleday, Ansel Elgort, Alex Russell and Gabriella Wilde. The release date is October 18, 2013.
Watch the clip after the jump.
