EVIL DEAD and CARRIE Interviews at the 2012 New York Comic-Con

evil dead remake official image
This year at the New York Comic-Con, both the "Carrie" and "Evil Dead" remakes showed up with their own panels which included the usual interviews, fan Q&A's and exclusive footage. Of course, the exclusive footage is not online, yet, but thanks to JoBlo.com, we get to see the Q&As with the filmmakers of both films. And by the way, the "Evil Dead" interviews were hilarious thanks to legendary Bruce Campbell, who played the lead in the original trilogy. Also, check out this first official picture from the "Evil Dead" remake (above).

Official Synopsis: In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.

Official Synopsis: A reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloƫ Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom. Based on the best-selling novel by Stephen King, Carrie is directed by Kimberly Peirce with a screenplay by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
