The first TV Spot for the new adaptation of Stephen King's best-selling novel "Carrie" has been released. The TV Spot has received some attention on the Internet because it announces that the film is rated R, which, if you are familiar with the novel or the original film, shouldn't be much of a surprise. Who would want a PG-13 version of "Carrie", or any Stephen King novel, for that matter ? The film stars Chloe Grace Moretz as a sheltered high school girl who unleashes her newly developed telekinetic powers after she is pushed too far by her peers. "Carrie" is directed by Kimberly Peirce ("Boys Don't Cry") and also stars Julianne Moore, Judy Greer, Portia Doubleday, Ansel Elgort, Alex Russell and Gabriella Wilde. The release date is October 18, 2013.
