Elizabeth Olsen (
"Martha Marcy May Marlene",
"Silent House") is in final negotiations to star as Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch in
Joss Whedon's sequel
"The Avengers: Age of Ultron". It seems that the deal is pretty much sealed and Olsen will play the character opposite
Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch's brother. Taylor-Johnson has not closed the deal for the sequel, but at this point I don't think he'll drop out. Both he and
Elizabeth Olsen have just finished working together on the
"Godzilla" reboot for Warner Bros. As for Olsen, she will also star in
Spike Lee's
"Oldboy" remake starring
Josh Brolin and
Samuel L. Jackson.
"The Avengers: Age of Ultron" begins filming in March 2014 and will be released on May 1, 2015.
