After the 2003 Ben Affleck movie failed to ignite a franchise and the "Elektra" spin-off failed miserably, it's reboot time for "Daredevil". 20th Century Fox has found the ideal director it seems : David Slade. Right now he's very famous (or hated) for "Twilight : Eclipse", but what really makes him such a great choice are two of his previous movies : "Hard Candy" a twisted thriller which included a sick castration scene and Ellen Page's awesome breakthrough role, and "30 Days of Night" a dark comic book adaptation. The 2003 "Daredevil" movie was really flawed but overall okay, especially in its Director's Cut incarnation. I have faith in Slade's dark sensibilities, but not so much in the studios ability to stay off his back during production.
