Directed by Brad Anderson ("Stonehearst Asylum", "The Machinist") from a script written by Bourne trilogy scribe Dan Gilroy, the espionage thriller "Beirut" stars Jon Hamm as a former U.S. diplomat who is called back into service in Beirut by the CIA to negotiate for the life of a colleague who is held captive by the group responsible for the death of his family. Rosamund Pike, Dean Norris, Shea Whigham and Mark Pellegrino co-star.

"Beirut" premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, and opened in limited release on April 11, 2018. The film received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised the cast and writing. It grossed $1.65 million in its first weekend from 755 theaters and over $2 million in five days.
