12 MONKEYS Season 3 Trailers, Clips, Images and Poster

The sci-fi series "12 Monkeys" returns for a third season on Syfy tonight at 8p. The new season will follow a daring schedule, airing all 10 episodes this weekend, with four episodes tonight and three each on Saturday and Sunday, at the same hour. The show has been renewed for a fourth and final season next year.

Created by Travis Fickett ("Nikita") and Terry Matalas based on the 1995 film of the same name directed by Terry Gilliam, the series stars Aaron Stanford, Amanda Schull, Kirk Acevedo and Barbara Sukowa.

"Based on the 1995 film directed by Terry Gilliam, "12 Monkeys" follows the journey of a time traveler from the post-apocalyptic future who is on a mission to eradicate the source of a deadly plague.
