The sci-fi drama "The Discovery" explores a world in which the afterlife has been scientifically verified, and within this context tells the story of a man and woman, played by Jason Segel and Rooney Mara, who fall in love while coming to terms with their own tragic pasts.

Directed by Charlie McDowell ("The One I Love"), the film also stars Robert Redford, Riley Keough, Jesse Plemons, Mary Steenburgen, Brian McCarthy and Ron Canada.

"The Discovery" is now streaming via Netflix.
