Today we have a new trailer for Dontnod Entertainment's new action RPG "Vampyr: The Darkness Within". Gameplay footage has been shown at this year's E3, so there's a hint of an idea about what the game is all about, but this new trailer focuses on the cinematics and reveals a bit of the plot.
Set in 1918 London during a deadly bout of the Spanish Flu, the game will give players control over the actions of Dr Jonathan Reid, who has arrived home from serving in the Great War with quite a problematic disease: vampirism. Obviously, being a doctor and a blood-craving monster is a pretty bad combination. We'll have to wait and see how Reid ultimately handles his dual life.
"Vampyr: The Darkness Within" will be released in 2017 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Official Synopsis
"In Vampyr, every citizen killed will affect London's safety. From shop closures to missing kin, the act of killing is unavoidable, but who you kill, and how, is in your hands. Every civilian can be killed, or saved - but as hordes of vampire hunters prowl the streets, growing strong on the blood of the weak will be ever more tempting. "
