The CW has premiered the first episode of the second season of "Supergirl".
The show, which has just moved from CBS, continues the adventures of the titular superheroine played by Melissa Benoist as she teams up with her cousin, Clark Kent / Superman (Tyler Hoechlin), to stop a new threat emerging in Central City.
The cast also includes Mehcad Brooks, Chyler Leigh, Jeremy Jordan, Lynda Carter, Chris Wood, David Harewood, Katie McGrath and Calista Flockhart.
The next episode from "Supergirl" Season 2 will premiere on October 17th.
