This week in theaters it's a deadly battle between mutants and Wonderland creatures. 20th Century Fox's "X-Men: Apocalypse" and Disney's "Alice Through the Looking Glass" are here at last, each one aiming at the fun-seeking demographic, but who will win ?
According to the critics both films are quite flawed, but at least the Marvel mutant saga has a solid fanbase. Disney's film follows in the footsteps of 2010's "Alice in Wonderland" which isn't getting a lot of love today, despite earning a lot of money back then. So, the Alice sequel could turn out to be a flop.
Meanwhile, in limited release, the thriller "The Ones Below" and the Greek comedy "Chevalier" are worth mentioning. More about each movie after the jump.
