LEGENDS OF TOMORROW First Look Trailer and Images

The CW has released a first look trailer and a few images for the upcoming series "DC's Legends of Tomorrow".

The show is a spin-off of "Arrow" and "The Flash" and it follows Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) as he travels back in time to the present day where he brings together a team of heroes and villains in an attempt to prevent Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) from destroying the world and time itself.

The cast also includes Caity Lotz, Victor Garber, Franz Drameh, Brandon Routh, Ciara Renee, Falk Hentschel, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell.

"Legends of Tomorrow" will debut on January 21, 2016, but you can also catch the team in action on December 1st for the Arrow episode "Legends of Today" and December 2nd on the Flash episode "Legends of Yesterday".

THE BOSS Trailer, Images and Poster

Universal Pictures has released the first trailer, images and poster for the comedy "The Boss", previously titled "Michelle Darnell".

Melissa McCarthy stars as Michelle Darnell, an American titan of industry who is sent to prison for insider trading. When she is released, she emerges ready to rebrand herself but soon finds out that not everyone is ready to forgive and forget.

Written by Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone, and directed by Falcone ("Tammy"), the film also stars Kristen Bell, Peter Dinklage, Kathy Bates, Kristen Schaal, Timothy Simons, Margo Martindale and Cecily Strong.

"The Boss" opens in theaters on April 8, 2016.

JOY Trailers, Clip, Images and Poster

Today we have a new trailer, an extended TV spot, a clip, eight images and a poster for David O. Russell's biopic "Joy". The film chronicles the struggles of inventor entrepreneur Joy Mangano (Jennifer Lawrence), the creator of Ingenious Designs, a company with over $1 billion in sales. The cast also features Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro, Edgar Ramirez, Diane Ladd, Virginia Madsen, Isabella Rossellini and Elisabeth Röhm.

"Joy" opens in theaters on December 25th.

New STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS TV Spots and Soundtrack Tracklist

Are you sick and tired of all those "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" TV spots that Disney keeps dishing out ? Too bad. The studio has released three more, one of them extended, that you can pick apart for those one or two bits of new footage. The more interesting news, however, is that they have also released the tracklist for the official soundtrack composed by John Williams, which you can check out after the jump, along with the cover art. In other Star Wars-related news, "The Force Awakens" was rated PG-13 by the MPAA for the all-ecompassing "sci-fi action violence".

Directed by J.J. Abrams ("Star Trek"), the film stars Oscar Isaac, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Crystal Clarke, Pip Andersen, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong'o, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.

In Theaters: CREED, THE GOOD DINOSAUR, VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN, THE DANISH GIRL

This week it's once again time to root for the underdog as the Rocky Balboa spinoff "Creed" is finally in theaters. The film has received an overwhelmingly positive response from critics and audiences alike, but still has to contend with Pixar's "The Good Dinosaur" for the top spot at the box-office. Another new wide release is "Victor Frankenstein" starring James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe, but I don't really see this one matter much for the weekend. In limited release we have Tom Hooper's latest Oscar-bait flick "The Danish Girl" starring Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander. Will Redmayne go two for two at the Oscars next year ? We shall see. New THE DANISH GIRL Trailer, Clips and Images

The awards-hopeful biopic "The Danish Girl" was released in limited release yesterday, so here is the new trailer (filled with ecstatic quotes from critics), two clips and nine images.

The true story of artists Lili Elbe (Eddie Redmayne) and Gerda Wegener (Alicia Vikander) received generally positive reviews, but some critics did have issues with the Oscar bait factor and the restrained and overly-glossy approach to the story.

Directed by Tom Hooper ("The King's Speech") the film also stars Ben Whishaw, Sebastian Koch, Amber Heard and Matthias Schoenaerts.

New VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN Clips, Featurette, Images and Posters

Since reimaginings are so popular in Hollywood these days, I guess it was only a matter of time until Mary Shelley's classic story would have received the same treatment. And here it is, "Victor Frankenstein" is now in theaters.

20th Century Fox has released two clips, a featurette, a batch of ten new images and two posters to convince you to go watch their movie. The critics, however, would urge you to reconsider. The film has been hammered with bad reviews. Despite the solid efforts of James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe, director Paul McGuigan ("Sherlock") and screenwriter Max Landis ("Chronicle") offer an unnecessary reinvention that lacks soul and intelligence.

The film also stars Jessica Brown Findlay, Andrew Scott, Bronson Webb, Daniel Mays and Freddie Fox.

8 New THE GOOD DINOSAUR Clips

Pixar has released eight clips for their new animated feature "The Good Dinosaur" which is now in theaters. Reviews for the film have been generally good, but many critics have noticed that the usual Pixar narrative standards are lacking here, leaving only the spectacular animation to carry the film. To sum it up, the general consensus is that it's good, but not great.

The voice cast features Raymond Ochoa, Jeffrey Wright, Steve Zahn, A.J. Buckley, Anna Paquin, Sam Elliott, Frances McDormand, Marcus Scribner and Jack Bright.

CREED - 7 Clips and 38 Pictures

The Rocky Balboa spinoff "Creed" is now in theaters, and it's certainly the most important event of the week. Today we have seven clips and thirty-eight images from the film.

The critical response has been overwhelmingly positive, with most reviews praising the film's new direction in the franchise that works because of Ryan Coogler's assured direction, Michael B. Jordan's amazing lead performance and Sylvester Stallone's unexpectedly solid supporting turn.

The film also stars Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Graham McTavish, and Anthony Bellew.

BARBERSHOP 3: THE NEXT CUT Trailer and Poster

The first trailer and poster for the comedy sequel "Barbershop: The Next Cut" have been released. Althoguh the need for a Barbershop franchise may have seemed unlikely back in 2002, here we are with a third installment that continues the saga of Calvin Palmer (Ice Cube) and his establishment.

Directed by Malcolm D. Lee ("The Best Man"), the sequel also stars Nicki Minaj, Regina Hall, Eve, Cedric the Entertainer, Common, Sean Patrick Thomas, Anthony Anderson, Lamorne Morris, JB Smoove and Jaszmine Lewis.

"Barbershop: The Next Cut" opens in theaters on April 15, 2016.

NOW YOU SEE ME 2 Teaser Trailer

The teaser trailer for the sequel "Now You See Me 2" has been released online. The film finds The Four Horsemen (Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Lizzy Caplan) returning for a comeback performance in hopes of exposing the unethical practices of a tech magnate. The new villain that the Horsemen must face is Walter Mabry (Daniel Radcliffe), a tech prodigy who threatens the team into pulling off their most impossible heist yet.

Directed by Jon M. Chu ("Jem and the Holograms"), the film also stars Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine, Sanaa Lathan, Henry Lloyd-Hughes and Morgan Freeman

"Now You See Me 2" opens in theaters on June 10, 2016.

New CREED Trailer, Featurette and Posters

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer, featurette and six posters for the Rocky Balboa spinoff "Creed". The story focuses on Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan), the son of Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers), who gets his own shot at the title with the help of Creed's former nemesis turned friend, Balboa himself (Sylvester Stallone). The featurette highlights Jordan's transformation into Adonis, and it's certainly a dedicated performance from the looks of it.

Co-written and directed by Ryan Coogler ("Fruitvale Station"), the film also stars Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Graham McTavish, and Anthony Bellew.

"Creed" is now in theaters.

THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR Trailer, Images and Poster

The first trailer, images and poster for the horror film "The Other Side of the Door" have been released online.

The film stars Sarah Wayne Callies ("The Walking Dead") as a mother who loses her son in a tragic accident. After learning of an ancient ritual that can resurrect him for a final goodbye, she travels to an ancient temple and, ignoring the sacred warnings, opens a door that serves as a portal between two worlds.

Directed and co-written by Johannes Roberts ("Storage 24"), the film also stars Jeremy Sisto, Javier Botet, Jax Malcolm and Sofia Rosinsky.

"The Other Side of the Door" opens in theaters on March 11, 2016.

New THE HATEFUL EIGHT Trailer, Featurette and Poster

Today we have a new trailer, featurette and poster for Quentin Tarantino's western "The Hateful Eight".

The highly anticipated project was shot in 70mm, and the featurette offers an interesting history of 70mm projection and roadshows. The Weinstein Company is working hard to retrofit theaters to support the format, but not everyone will be able to see it as the director intended. Still, it's very cool that Tarantino took the chance to give us some old school filmmaking and hopefully it will pay off.

The film stars Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Samuel L. Jackson, Walton Goggins, Tim Roth, Demian Bichir, Bruce Dern, Michael Madsen, Zoë Bell, James Parks and Channing Tatum.

"The Hateful Eight" opens in theaters on December 25th.

Universal has released a new trailer, clip, images and posters for the R-rated comedy "Sisters". Tina Fey and Amy Poehler star as two estranged sisters who decide to throw one last house party before their parents sell their family home.

Directed by Jason Moore ("Pitch Perfect"), the film also stars Maya Rudolph, Ike Barinholtz, John Leguizamo, Dianne Wiest, John Cena and James Brolin.

New IN THE HEART OF THE SEA Trailers, 43 Images and 3 Posters

Warner Bros. has released two new trailers, forty-three images and three posters to promote the upcoming Ron Howard film "In the Heart of the Sea". Based on Nathaniel Philbrick's book of the same name, the film tells the true story that inspired Herman Melville's "Moby Dick". The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Benjamin Walker, Tom Holland, Brendon Gleeson, Cillian Murphy, Ben Whishaw, Michelle Fairley, Charlotte Riley, Frank Dillane and Jordi Molla.

"In the Heart of the Sea" opens in theaters on December 11th.

New STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Clip and Empire Covers

Today we have a batch of Empire magazine covers and a first clip for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".

The covers feature the sequel's main players: Finn (John Boyega), Rey (Daisy Ridley), Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca (Peter Mahyew), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie). Empire magazine also released a new image featuring Christie's Phasma trying to look like a badass.

The clip is a brief action scene from the trailers in which Ridley and Boyega run for their lives through the desert. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it's nice to see an actual clip from the movie after all those TV spots. It also gives us a nice preview of John Williams' score. Stay tuned for more in the next weeks.

The first trailer and posters for Marvel Studios' upcoming sequel "Captain America: Civil War" have been released.

The film is directed by "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" helmers Joe and Anthony Russo and it picks up where "Avengers: Age of Ultron" left off, with Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) in charge of the new Avengers. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure fractures the team and pits Rogers against former Avenger Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). And, of course, there will be a new mysterious villain ready to take over the world.

The film also stars Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, Daniel Brühl and Tom Holland.
